Ez az állás leírása

The company’s R&D activities are focused on the development and application of novel technology for recombinant protein expression in commercial production systems. Growth and market demand require expansion of our R&D team. We are looking for a highly motivated and committed scientist dedicated to reaching the short and long term goals as part of a closely operating and ambitious team of professionals. You are a creative scientist who is able to develop innovative technological improvements and advise the platform specialists on implementation. You have a high working standard and appreciate the entrepreneurship required to work for a dynamic life sciences company.
As a (senior) scientist molecular biology, you will be responsible for the further development of the company's proprietary technology in the area of enhanced recombinant protein production in eukaryotic systems. You will work closely with scientists who are responsible for implementing the copmany's technology in specific platforms, including mammalian cultured cells, yeast and fungal systems. Rather than focussing on a specific production platform, you will further develop the core technology at the molecular level and integrate approaches, technologies and results across various platforms. You will design and execute studies aimed at developing and evaluating novel expression technology; design and lead projects involving bioinformatics; integrate/align approaches and data across platforms. You enjoy working in the laboratory and maximizing experimental output.

Profile candidate
You are a molecular biologist with strong background and expertise in the area of molecular and cellular regulation of gene and protein expression, with a focus on molecular interactions governing protein expression. You have a sound understanding of the underlying mechanisms and processes at the level of transcription, translation, intracellular transport and secretion, understand their impact on physiology and know how to integrate this knowledge in experimental designs.
