Yesterday I received your application for MSc Science Education and Communication, dated 19-03-2013. Internal procedures take their time, I’m afraid.

We would like to have you as a master student. You must realise, however, that our programme will not focus on preparing you to become a scientific writer. The focus of our programme is aimed at strategic communication and business-to-business communication. Scientific writing / journalism of course plays a role in the curriculum, but not a major one.

As you are living nearby, in Leiden, you could visit me or one of my colleagues, so we can discuss the contents of the master’s programme in detail. Please let me know if you want to make an appointment.
